But if you live in a virtual bubble, paid bribes and perks for selling out your country, and surrounded by a sycophantic press that excels at selling your lies and deceptions to the American people, and are already wealthy, connected and coddled, as are the scum in Washington known as Congressmen and Senators, the you would have no idea about the damage you continue to do to a dying economy. if this isnt treason then i dont know what is . this country has no money and we pass trash like this .when will it end are well it . i wish the best for every one here i feel we are all going to need it . we make real good money in a year time . it time to stop and start getting the free ride . if they can pass shi/t like this then they will be comming for the guns and it not to far off . what rights we have left are in trouble

Of course in the scheme of things, when the majority stop producing or allowing themselves to be taken advantage of, that is when the dictator emerges from the fold, thus turning socialism into full fledged communist dictatorship.

At the risk of sounding unduly optimistic, as close as this was in the House, I don't think this has a snowball's chance in the Senate. There are enough Dems wavering on this that I think Senate passage is very iffy. On top of that, though, I haven't yet had time to check out a state-by-state breakdown of the House votes, but this bill could've passed the House on the votes of less than half of the states' delegations. If California, New York and Florida provided the bulk of the votes in the House FOR the bill, that would only constitute six votes in the Senate--a far cry from a majority. I realize we've got a long road ahead in pulling the plug on this thing and keeping it from Obama's desk, but I really can't see this passing the Senate. Just MHO.
